Located in the Redcliffe Facility, Unitrans is a well-established, global supply chain and logistics organisation who have been servicing some of the largest retail home furnishings brands for over 20 years. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team.

Supervising a Warehouse team of approximately 8 employees, the successful candidate will effectively contribute to the success of the business by:

  • Undertaking and maintaining daily warehouse operations
  • Co-ordinating, supervising and systemising warehouse operations and logistics to ensure the warehouse is kept in a tidy manner, stock is efficiently received, stored, packed and despatched
  • Liaise and Communicate with 3PL customers to ensure that SLA’s are met
  • Upkeep and knowledge of warehousing systems such as RFI barcode and scanning systems and other warehouse systems and procedures
  • Supervise and uphold Quality Control processes and procedures
  • Successful supervision of warehouse personnel, work health and safety and company policies and procedures
  • Implementing continuous improvement ideas and initiatives in the warehouse

 

To be considered for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following abilities, skills and expertise:

  • 2-5 years experience in Warehouse Supervision
  • Demonstrated knowledge / experience with warehouse systems and processes (advantageous)
  • Experience working in Third Party Logistics (3PL) (advantageous)
  • Experience with big and bulky products (advantageous, not required)
  • Strong supervisor and leadership skills
  • Efficiency and meticulous attention to detail
